Purge Ally Pod Review | An EightVape Guest Review
The Purge Ally 30W Pod is a beautiful device that excels in both performance and adaptability. It features a powerful rechargeable battery, high watt output range and an easy to use airflow control system. Purge Mods are well known in the vaping community for their high-end mechanical devices. Their products have been featured in countless positive vaping reviews because they look magnificent and are made to a very high standard.
The Purge Ally is a compact and portable pod measuring just 49.9mm's by 43.65mm's by 16.4mm's. It boasts a 950 mAh battery that is encased within a durable zinc-alloy chassis. The Purge Ally feels great in hand and has a bit of weight to it. It features three different power output modes that include wattage, voltage, and also TC. This can be changed easily via the two adjustment buttons.
All the usual information like battery level, wattage and puffs are displayed on an inset 0.69" OLED screen. This is made possible by Purge Mods proprietary chipset. Unfortunately, when you turn the pod off, the puff counter resets. Hopefully, this will be fixed with a firmware update. On the underside is a Micro USB port for charging and on the sides are removable resin panels. They have a bit of wiggle to them, but nothing too dramatic.
On top, you have a really nice drip tip that has an incorporated airflow control ring. This allows you to fine-tune your vaping experience to be either an MTL or DTL. The flavor is hands down sensational, with decent cloud production. The draw is a super smooth, but slightly airy. Loading in your 2ml cartridge is done by flicking open the hinged pod compartment just like a Zippo lighter which is very satisfying.
To fill just unplug the rubber grommet on the side of the cartridge and squeeze in your e-liquid. The kidney hole is relatively large and can fit a chubby gorilla tip or glass tripper. I haven't experienced any leaking whatsoever and am confident enough to carry the Purge Ally in my pocket while on the go. The 0.8ohm mesh coil features huge wicking ports that help with the overall quality of vape.
The best price I could find online was from Eightvape. They're retailing the Purge Ally 30W Pod Vape System for $64.88 USD. I know this sounds expensive compared to other pod devices, but this is a high-end product that will last you a lifetime. I think it's an overall good deal and well worth a purchase.
The packaging for the Purge Ally is minimal and modern. The pod itself comes in three distinct colored patterns that are so cool! Inside your box, you will find a Purge Ally battery, Micro USB cable, and all-important user manual. Weirdly, no cartridge is included and they have to be bought separately. This is a bit annoying, but they are relatively cheap and easy to get a hold of.
