I have been using the Vaporesso Luxe for about a year, it's a solid performer, no issues. The Luxe fires very fast, and delivers a predictable hit, my only gripe has been the weight of it. I really like the size of the Luxe, but it just weighs my pockets down to much for me to carry all the time. Enter Vaporesso GEN. I read the reviews and everyone called it a lightweight mod, so I grabbed it. It performs just as it should, but it's not that much lighter than the Luxe and it's taller and wider. Not ideal for carrying. Given that this has the small screen on the side rather than the large touch screen of the Luxe, I'm not sure I'll use it over the Luxe, but it is a very good mod that does everything you need and has some features that you may not need but would like to play around with.

Excellent mod!
Dual 18650 batteries, 200W+ mod, temp control, and currently it's somehow cheaper to go with the mod+tank! This is by far one of the best mods I've ever used. I love the texture of this mod, it seems like it has a somewhat sticky coating and gives you an excellent grip, along with the hexagon pattern, the grip on this mod is insane! The screen is a decent size and shows everything you need. The AXON chip is awesome! My batteries have lasted 2 days so far(on eco mode), and they're still above 40%! Every other mod I've used, I'd be at <10% or completely dead after 2 days. This is definitely one of the best mods I've used. It seems very durable and does everything most vapers want from a mod. I would highly recommend.

I put this mod in my cart last night thinking I would finish my order and pay today....BUT....it was $10 MORE !!! WTF !!! Will keep my eyes out to see if it goes back down to the regular price AFTER THE SALE !!!

terrible battery life
I've been using this mod for a few weeks now and I'm just not impressed. It looks great and has a nice hand-feel, but the battery life is terrible! Once the batteries are down to about 40%, you get maybe 6-8 drags and then the mod is dead. I'm using brand new batteries that last nearly 2 days in my Drag, but for some reason this mod just sucks batteries dry at an alarming rate. I'm vaping at only 40W.

Perfect sleeper mod
Love this mod, first I don’t know why people are saying it has poor battery life because I’ve noticed the exact opposite. Battery life is a huge plus, I’m getting almost two days out of a married set when my other mods would normally give me one day. Lots of great modes, all of which work to perfection. Looks good and let me tell you, you NEED to feel this thing, you’ll constantly rub it’s finish which is durable and feel amazing. Dedicated menu button a plus, why don’t all mods do this? It takes up little room and saves a ton of extra button presses and wear & tear on buttons. I need to buy another just so I’m never without one. I’ve been vaping since 2012 and this is the best mod I’ve ever owned or used and I’ve owned & used a ton of them. Super lightweight yet doesn’t feel cheap, I can go on and on but I leave it at this: buy the damn thing!! You won’t regret it.

Ive already made a review on this MOD a day or 2 after I got it and it's an overall good mod except one problem... The battery life is horrible! I vape around 115 watts and after just one hit the mod goes immediately from 100% to 94% and once it hits 70% and under its not hitting near as hard and at below 50% it hits very weak. I'm going to try to update the firmware and see if that helps but if not I will probably just go back to using my Geekvape Nova mod regularly which has excellent battery life at the wattage I like to vape at.

I love Vaporesso’s Gen Mod. I own 3 out of the 4 colors, and might grab the silver one. It’s light, has a “textured” body (for those of us who tend to drop things!), and fits well in your hand. It automatically adjusts the power according to the coils resistance, and the battery door stays on without any rattling. I didn’t read the other reviews, which seem mixed at a glance. I’m not an expert, but I’ve been vaping and collecting mods for years. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a good Mod with a simplistic yet appealing design. There’s no special lights or anything gimmicky. It’s priced right and perfect for anyone looking for a new Mod.

This mod is amazing hands down and to match it with the Horizon Tech Falcon makes it even better. But after 1 drop onto concrete the tank holder became loose and broke later that day. i realise that the mod cant survive a high drop so take really good care of it.

Love this mod
I love this mod so far. It's comfortable, easy to use, everything works as it should. I was concerned about reports of a wobbly 510 connection, but I've experienced nothing of the sort. All features perform to my expectations, if not a little better. Highly recommend this mod. Didn't know I'd appreciate having a separate menu button as much as I do too. I got it in silver which matches beautifully with my falcon king tank. I gave five stars mainly because I couldn't put more on!

Hard to put down!
This mod has to be the lightest dual battery mod on the market. Don't let that fool you though cuz this is a powerhouse of a mod. It hits fast and accurately and the smooth rubberized finish makes it very comfortable in the hands. The Axon chip works very well.

Like it so much had to get another!
I had read the reviews on youtube for this one. It looked like it might be a little large for my small hands but it's just fine. It's very lightweight and I love the feel of the material whatever kind of coating they use I really like. It keeps the mod from slipping out of your hand besides looking good. I was so impressed that after using it only a day I immediately ordered another one. At this price you cannot find another mod of this quality. I use it in wattage mode only. Simple to set up and use. Put a Falcon King on it and is great.

love this mod feels nice in the hand my daily driver there are some bugs tho even after updating to 1.02 firmware but even with the bugs love this thing just wish they would fix some things on it
cons
1.) auto eco mode doesnt work.
2.) battery life at then end under 30% is a joke you will go to take a hit and all of a sudden it will be dead..
3.) charging usb this thing gets hot won't be doing that again

Don't buy for TC
This is my 2nd gen mod, both do not function in TC/smartTC. I only use ss316 or nichrome. After screwing on and off 10+ attys, smartTC popped up once on a 1.2 ohm nichrome build. Everything else functions fine...buggy ass mod

I love this mod,
I wanted to try it due to the new chip and it does deliver. The feel, the simplicity and the performance makes this mod in my opinion the best mass produced mod to date. I got a lot of mods to compare it to. I still prefer my mad modders and my mechs. But if you could only buy one mass produced dual 18650 mod, this one should be it. It is very affordable I am even thinking of getting more for back ups.

I like this mod works well feels good in the hand and has some cool features plus it's a Vaporesso product so you know its quality. Bought the blue/black model it's a solid performer for sure. Will buy the all black model when it's in stock.

I didn't think this mod would be as great as it's been hyped up to be but figured I'd order it since I needed a new mod and haven't had issues with any of my Vaporessos before. Boy was I wrong. This thing is brilliant. Pulse mode really works and I get hit in the face with flavour whether I'm high wattage vaping or have it turned down to 40w.
Yes, it is a little wider than the Luxe or Polar but it is light.
Only thing about it that's bad is the I already want to buy a second one. Eightvape, hurry up and stock the mod only version in black!
