SMOK TFV12 Baby Prince Sub-Ohm Tank

Ok, I have this tank and I hope you guys keep this bumped near the top because Im going to give you a few tips. HOW TO FIX MISREADING OHMS ISSUE Would I recommend this? probably not. Is it a bad tank, no, I've seen worse. This tank has two issues, but both are fixable but annoying. The leaking. As stated by others, when you get the tank, the coil isnt installed tightly. Remove the coil, put on a pair of medical gloves (for the rubber grip that it gives you) and snug the coil tight by hand. Don't grab pliers or tools, youll screw up the threads. Once the coil is on well, you shouldn't have issues. Issue two is the box mod will misread the ohms on occasions. I think it's due to fluid buildup on the inside floor of the coil itself. The fix is to unscrew the tank, wipe down the connections, if that doesn't fix it, grab a Q-tip and shove it down the center of the coil. work the floor of the coil good using a twisting motion, then scrub the coil sides a bit. This usually fixes the issue and the box mod will correctly ID the ohms. (You have to unscrew and remove the tank so the box mod knows to recheck the ohms. If you clean it in place, the box wont know to recheck the coils ohms.) If you make you-tube videos, feel free to share this tip. I couldnt find it anywhere and figured this out myself. Iv seen alot a folks crying about how the baby prince leaks.got news for all of you. #1 the coil isn't right when you get it. I took mine out and put it back in and made it as tight as I could short of useing pliers. When I replaced it for a new coil something.guess what no leaks so far.

Really great tank This is an amazing tank for beginners. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I’ve had zero issues. I am really glad that I purchased it.

Good tank for intermediate users Bought 2 of these tanks, one has zero leaks with any of the coils, one leaked like crazy off the bat. Seems to have stopped now, after cleaning and wiping juice off my mod for 2 hours. Mesh coil is the best in this tank. I only got mine as a backup to my TFV8 Baby Beast V2. I still prefer my Baby Beast, but this will work in a pinch. Great flavor, surprising cloud production. Using the mesh at 65 watts with zero dry hits and no wicking issues. I'd recommend to anyone that's not new to vaping, but has been for a while, and has some experience as the leaking can be frustrating.

Leaks bad It leaks bad and the coils suck. I gave mine away. Lots of better tanks out there. Don’t be fooled by the sale price it’s not worth it. There’s a reason it’s so cheap.

Leaks like a faucet! I should’ve listened to the reviews and not bought this tank due to leaking issues. This faucet leaked an entire tank full of juice into/onto a brand new mod and destroyed it.... Total Garbage!!! :(

Nice little tank I got the black model, and I have used it awhile before I wrote this. Uses new & old baby TFV8 coils. It holds decent amount. Don't let the small size fool you. Really like the new top with push button. It really makes a difference. Has good flavor n airflow

Leaks like a sieve. This tank came with my gpriv baby and initially i was excited and enjoyed the vapor. However it leaked in the beginning and never stopped. It always leaked I've tried 7 coils of different kinds it always leaks. It will piss out an entire tank full out the air flow holes. It's especially obnoxious because my brand new mod is continually covered in sticky gooey oily liquid and i feel like the device is ruined from oil leaking into the firing button and touch screen.

FLAVOR FLAVOR!! This is much better than the previous version of the baby beast. My only con is that when I fill the tank I have to close the air flow to make sure that it doesn't leak after filling. For some reason it the air gets in it and causes it to leak if you don't close the airflow. The coils have lasted a lot longer in this tank as well!

Coil Fixes This tank uses the baby beast coils. I had a heck of a time with leakage on my Big Baby Beast tank. Here's a few things I learned: 1. Google "Baby beast coil compatibility list." Some lists include compatibility for small, medium, large & classic coils. Baby beast coils are in the small category. There are several others you can use that have better quality. 2. I grew tired of buying 5 packs of coils at the local shop, where I paid $20. Maybe 2 or 3 worked okay, but all leaked. I bought 100 wholesale at a much cheaper price & turned to YouTube. There are videos that offer potential solutions for your coil issues. 3. Here's what works for me: I tip my coil upside down to look for wires sticking out near the bottom washer. I use a thin hair clip or screwdriver, and I tuck in those wires until I can no longer see them. These baby beast tanks/coils work on a vacuum seal, so the wires sticking out doesn't allow the bottom washer to seal, which causes leaking. Some tanks are more sensitive than others to this coil design flaw. I then use a needle to make little shallow holes in the cotton, so the coils wick better. This is important, as the cotton openings and internal coils don't always line up - another design flaw. I never have leaks now & my coils last 2+ weeks. 3. For some, the top white grommet was warped, so they replaced with the spare. Some put the tank guard ring around the juice refill line to fix their vacuum seal issue. I also do this as an extra precaution.

Clouds Nice flavor and clouds.

Good tank but has issues Loved the tank, looks great good flavor and clouds. Only real issue is it leaked super bad. No matter what I tried it leaked. Tried every coil they make for it and had the same results. I might have just got a bad tank I know plenty of others that have not had these issues but the one I got was not so good.

Descent tank This could be an awesome tank of smok would slow down and quit putting a new tank or mod out every week, it's getting a little ridiculous, they produce wayyy to many products to quick which results in the quality not being as good as it could be. But I won't just hate on them, they have inovated the vape industry more than most other company's and I do like this tank it's just it could be much better. My main problem is it leaks to much, usually every 4 fillups or so mins leakes like crazy. Is it worth $15-20? Definatly...especially with the mesh coils, but Damn smok slow it down and make a one or two awesome products a month instead of 6 or 7 mediocre ones

Best Smok Tank I’ve used every SMOK tank since the TFV4 and this is by far the best one. It doesn’t leak, the coils last if you aren’t a chain vaper, and the clouds are amazing.

Not the best subohm tank, it's really in a middle ground between the Prince full sized and the last generation of tanks like the uWell Crown 3 Mesh is a game changer. This tank out of the box beats my uWell Crown 3 at 30 watts and is way more flavorful. I'd recommend it to people who aren't will to quite upgrade from a starter to one of the bigger tanks on the market that are more powerful like The Prince or the Cleito 120 Pro or the new Fireluke tank. It's something in between a starter tank and a "pro" subohm tank. It will save you battery power with the 30 watts minimum power required and deliver a lot of flavor. The mesh coils is what you should be paying attention to because it's a game changer and will increase flavor and lifespan of the coil making it cheaper to use and maintain. Good luck on your hunt for the perfect e cig for you. I recommend this e cig for beginners trying to change and or upgrade from a starter tank like the Aspire Breeze or any other AIO system.

Amazing Great tank awesome flavor

just ok This tank is just ok. There's nothing special about it. I was expecting a bit more out of it but it works well enough and I haven't had any problems with leaking so far so that's a plus.

Great baby tank Unlike other reviewers, I’ve not experienced any leaking whatsoever. I use the .15 mesh coils which last me a couple of weeks before the flavor & cloud decrease. My favorite of the Smok tanks. Not as good as the Falcon & Freemax pro mesh but is right near the two in flavor intensity

Super baby tank <3 the prince tank & <3 the baby prince. Definitely a better flavor comes through using the mesh coils. Up there in my favorite 3 tanks!

Was great at first but then BAD!!!! The only reason I got this tank was because of the mesh coils. For the first couple months this was an awesome tank produced great flavor and hit nicely but then things got bad. My tank started leaking profusely and would give me major spit back. When I would change out my coils and I let the coil sit to and wick for 15 minutes the juice would completely drain out if the tank all over my mod and wherever it was sitting. I even swapped out the o-rings out and this didn't help the issue. Ala in all I would suggest to stay away.

Trickery This tank was bomb for the first 3 weeks after that nothing stops this from leaking badly. Changed all rings new coils different juices different mods nope this is not a good tank. Too bad because I loved this while it worked

I have 3 of these tanks.. except this last rainbow Baby Prince tank I received is damaged or something every single coil I put in it even outta the pack I Ordered a week later is burnt.. so it's the whole Tank in General!?!?! I ABSOLUTELY Love SMOK products but I'll not order another tank for awhile. I probly not just got a dud which makes me sad. :( besides that issue with the final baby prince I purchased, th " BABY PRINCE TANK " is freaking AMAZING!! You're missing out if you don't have this tank, & I promise you'll not regret it as long as your tank is normal lol

Insane cloud production By far the best tank Smok has released to date! Love the capacity of the tank and all the cool options that the tank allows for. Cloud production and flavor is incredible. This is a perfect investment especially for the more experienced vapors.

Favorite tank Love this tank. The mesh coils are the best for awesome flavor. I own several tanks, like most of us, but my 2 baby prince tanks are the ones I use most. Cons: Not a huge fan of the drip tip, but that’s easily replaced I wish the coils that come with it were all mesh coils. Lol Pros: I’m getting around 2 & 1/2 weeks on the mesh coils, the non mesh, I can only get about a week out of max. It can use the baby beast coils and same goes for the other way around. Baby beasts can use the baby prince coils. Easy to use locking fill system. Have never had any leaks at all. (I have only been using them about 3 months.) Quit reading this and just add to cart, you won’t regret it.

best tank I've got so far Love this tank I have 2 big Baby beast light edition wich I believe are great tanks except for they tend to leak from the top. Where this tank has a button lock wich helps keep it from leaking as much plus the flavor and clouds are incredible.

Best tank I've had so far I love smoktech products but this is by far my favorite investment. Tank hits great at variable wattage and I love the smooth flow from the extra wide drip tip. Changed my whole mod's flavor profile.

Best yet... Got this in blue for the carbon blue majesty mod and it's a perfect fit....mesh coils are on point with my rta's and have an incredible life span. ..

Flavor for weeks! This tank is amazing. It's become my go to on all my mods. With the mesh coil the flavor is the best I've tasted in a sub-ohm tank. Rivals RDA's. And the mesh coils last for weeks not days. Once you go mesh. it's always fresh!

i like this better than the Prince tank altho still waiting to try the new strip & mesh coils for the Prince which could change my opinion after i try those. bc what i love about this Baby Prince is really the mesh coil. i like it better than the Freemax Mesh coils & 8vape had a great deal on these baby prince tanks, + got it for like $15 on 8vape during the sale so i doubt youll find a better tank with a mesh coil for under $15

Not a daily driver Got this to replace my king beast as a daily driver to help conserve juice. Ended up spending more on coils every three days than I was baby on juice in my king beast. I also consistently run it at max reccomended wattage though. However when the coil isn't burnt, flavor is amazing as is vapor production, but airflow is fairly constrained. Great tank on its own and has yet to leak, but severely lacking when accustomed to the king beast in my opinion.would recommend for starting vapers

one of my favorite big sub-ohm tanks! So as I may not be a fan of Smoks mods anymore I cant ssy the same about their tanks. They do make some good sub ohm tanks. This one is AWESOME! Produces HUGE vapor production & some of these coils (using regular old organic cotto ) produce AMAZING flavor as well

Lookin good, Lookin REAL Good Sooo yeah it looks real nice coming from sum one who owns 3 big babys, a tfv12 prince, a x-baby, and a spirals tank. In betting jus about everyone that bought the tfv12 prince is wishin they'd waited on this, I kno I am. Oh well. Ill try out the new mesh coil since it will fit the other baby tanks. Other than that I'm happy with my Falcon, Nunchaku, Herakles 3, Crown 3 & MAZE RDA
