Love the single battery aegis mods. I use them for my testers. I prefer the size of the solo.. But the max has a more sturdy battery cap. And as always eight vape was fast/good quality

I had wanted to get an original Aegis 100W 26650 mod, but they are discontinued and all long gone. I also would have liked to get a Legend, but they are not 21700 yet and the price never seems to drop like so many other mods, so I wait. THen all of a sudden I get an email advert from Eightvape showing the New Aegis Max single 21700 mod that is larger than the Solo and able to fit a 30mm tank for Only $23.50 !!! ??? I raced to the website and said "Thank You, I'll Take TWO" !! I was bummed that a day and a half later they were blowing them out at just over $20, but when I went back to get a Third mod, they were all gone, ... Bummer ! I was still glad I got two though. I opened one up and checked it out, but I didn't use it at all. I have Vape Hardware coming in the mail all the time and there is no way I can keep up, so mods go onto the shelf and wait their turn for a week long test drive, sometimes month long if I really like them, before switching to the next mod on the list. Well I couldn't resist and after a few days with the Revenant Delta Squonk I decided to slap a battery into the Aegis Max, screw on an Aromamizer Plus and give it a few pulls. I reall ylike this mod even though it is a single battery, it has a grippy rubber feel and the leathery material on it feels quite luxurious. I know these mods are IP67 rated, but I do not feel the need to torture them just to make sure they are, how silly would that be ? Like throwing it in the toilet just to see if it is truly waterproof, what would be the point except to tempt fate ? lol Anyway, I have been looking for more of these mods, because having several of the same mod is how I roll, it is good to have back ups and spares, but everywhere I look, they are $40 and up and generally in the $48 range and I won't spend that on a single cell mod, so I think it will be a very long time before I am able to get my third or fourth Aegis Max mod. Thanks Eightvape for ruining me on this one ! You sold them at such a killer low price that I will likely never feel good about getting more of them at a lot higher price. lol I have over 100 different mods and there are many I really like, for various reasons, but this one I like for aesthetics as well as form and the function isn't bad either. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who vapes at the lower wattages from 35W to 55W, just so the batteries won't have to be changed so often. I vape a little higher at 60W to 90W depending on the tank used, and I have to swap the batt at least once a day and sometimes twice, but that will be the same for any single battery device. Yes, this mod is very nice and gets a big thumbs up from me !!

Feels great in the hand. Looks good as well. Same old Aegis Vibes. It’s a bit underpowered feeling tho when compared to my other mods, which wouldn’t be an issue except for the 100W ceiling (for me). Also you really have to tighten the crap out of the battery door otherwise ur 21700 will jiggle a bit. Even with it super tight I’ve had the mod turn off for no reason. I suspect it’s battery contact not chip related. Overall it’s decent, but I wasn’t as impressed with the Max as my other Aegis mods.

I'm so glad I bought 2 of these AEGIS Mods before they were sold out along the Zeus mesh RTA's. I like the fact that I can use the 20700 battery instead of the 18650. This combo hits like a Freight Train and it doesn't hurt it's built like one. Shockproof, waterproof,dustproof is a bonus. 8vape is the best place to get a great deal
