Top Vape Tanks 2018

Top Tanks 2018

2018 has been an amazing year in the Vaping world, we saw a lot of ground breaking innovations that changed the industry forever. This year marked the rise of the ultra powerful mesh coil structure! I personally swear by mesh coils and refuse to use any tank that doesn’t offer a mesh coil, they’re the pinnacle of flavor production in vaping right now and yours truly is definitely a flavor chaser. With all these amazing innovations it's hard to separate the good from the bad, so I did it for you!

Here’s a look at some of the best vape tanks that came out this year.

#5 Uwell Crown 4 Sub-Ohm Tank

I was surprised to see the Crown 4 ranking right up with the rest of our top-sellers, especially considering its only been out for a few weeks! But the fact that it barreled its way into our top selling vape tanks list is a true testament to just how good this Sub-Ohm Tank is!

The Uwell Crown 4 Tank is an upgraded sub-ohm vaping atomizer that features a high-quality stainless steel and silicone construction, patented self-cleaning technology, and mesh coil compatibility. 28mm base diameter. 6mL E-Liquid capacity. 5mL capacity with straight glass. New and innovative heating chamber and air channels prevent leakage.Mesh coils feature double helix design, for even heating and excellent flavor production. Top-fill system with threaded design. Hand-polished stainless steel. Crown 4 atomizers absorb e-juice in the integrated condensation holder and vaporize it in a self-cleaning mechanism.

#4 Horizon Falcon Tank Resin Edition

The Falcon Tank Resin Edition is an updated design of the original falcon tank from Horizon, featuring an upgraded 7mL E-Juice reservoir and new M2 mesh coil compatibility. Convenient top-filling refilling system, with adjustable bottom airflow (triple airflow slots), and gold-plated 510 connector for maximized conductivity. The coil system from Horizon features high-quality wood pulp and flax cotton builds that last long and provide exceptional flavor and cloud production. Stunning cobra-print resin pattern and colorful bubble glass tube.

#3 FreeMax FIRELUKE MESH Sub-Ohm Tank

The FIRELUKE MESH Sub-Ohm Tank utilizes all-new MESH heating elements in its premade coils. Featuring a 24mm diameter base with a threaded top-fill design, dual adjustable airflow slots, and 3mL of E-Juice capacity. The MESH coils boast a large surface area, increasing cloud and flavor production. Constructed from stainless steel, resin, or carbon Fiber, with a knurled design for style in a wide variety of colors.

#2 HorizonTech Falcon Sub-Ohm Tank

The tank so nice it made this list twice! The Horizon Falcon Sub-Ohm tank was such a best seller, when they released the resin version it almost surpassed this original Falcon Sub-Ohm Tank!

The Falcon comes with a 5ml juice capacity and top fill system. But what really takes this tank up a notch are the coils! The Falcon utilizes different wick material to offer a customize-able vaping experience. This tank offers the choice of 30% wood pulp with 70% cotton, natural flax fiber, flax fiber and flax paper, mesh coil 30% wood pulp 70% cotton. The Falcon makes flavor it priority.

#1 FreeMax Mesh Pro Sub-Ohm Tank

It should come as no surprise that the FreeMax Mesh Pro Sub-Ohm takes the crown for tank of the year 2018. When it first released it was the very first tank in the world to offer a triple mesh coil capable of producing some serious clouds. I personally have bought two of them, one for testing E-Juices at work because the flavor production is so accurate, and one to keep at home. If you haven’t tried a FreeMax Mesh Pro Tank you’re missing out!

An exceptionally smooth draw paired with fantastic flavor production. The Mesh Pro measures 25mm in base diameter and is outfitted with an adjustable gold-plated 510 pin. Standard bulb glass features a 5mL E-Juice capacity, while the included bubble glass upgrades the reservoir to hold 6mL. Slide-to-open top-refilling system for convenience and ease. Airflow preferences are adjustable via dual sliding airflow slots located at the base of the tank.

Hard to fault your list, love all the tanks on it and the Mesh Pro is my tank of the year. The original Fireluke Mesh definitely deserves a spot on the list for changing the game, made mesh coils popular. It has been surpassed by the other tanks on the list, the Falcon and Crown 3 with the mesh coils are so damn good and spank the og fireluke mesh.

The Crown 3 was a great tank, my favorite prior to the Fireluke Mesh. I used the hell out of that tank and continued to do so while reviewing.

2018 was a great year for subohm tanks and mesh is what changed the game.

I literally own seven mesh pro tanks from freemax. I’ve been in the game for a couple of years and have been waiting the entire time for a tank this amazing, so of course I threw everything else away and went mesh pro all the way across the board!!!

My Falcon sub-olm tank with the M3 coils consistantly put out flavor on par with my RDA’s. I rarely use my RDA’s now because of this. IMO, Horizontech & Fireluke changed the game as far as what to expect from tanks. I also have the Smok V2, while it’s not bad, it’s nowhere near Falcon good.

I have two FreeMesh Max Pro tanks along with triple and quad coils. I wish the tanks would upgrade to 7mls

Jordan, when you mark the mesh pro as your number 1 what coil do you personally have in yours? The single, dual, or triple mesh, or did you go with a duodenary or?
